Suntory has unveiled a new immersive experience to allow whisky lovers from anywhere in the world to tour the Yamazaki Distillery or Hakushu Distillery virtually. Watch below for an exclusive look at what it’s like touring these distilleries through 360-degree video and photos.

The Yamazaki Distillery has been running since 1923. For over 90 years, it has had to rely on physical tours of its distilleries for people who wanted to experience what it was like there. Suntory has a reputation for sustainability and preservation, and the building has been preserved as it was when it was first built, giving viewers a first-hand glimpse into the history of whisky.

The Hakushu Distillery is located in the foothills of the Southern Japan Alps mountain range, giving the distillery access to the clear, fresh water used in its whisky. Viewers get to experience how Suntory crafts high-quality whisky through a slow, unhurried process.
