Volcan de Mi Tierra X.A — the latest spirits venture from luxury goods giant Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton — is taking a road trip to Vegas.

Volcan X.A has just been announced as the official partner of the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix, taking place from November 16-18. Along with the expected assortment of branded cocktails, the partnership is being commemorated with 3,800 limited-edition bottles — an ode to the Las Vegas Strip Circuit’s 3.8-mile track.

“This partnership underscores the broader consumption trends that we’ve been seeing for agave spirits over the past few years,” Santiago Cortina Gallardo, Volcan’s president, told Forbes. “Consumers are drinking more luxury and super-luxury tequila than ever before, and therefore, they want their favorite bottles available at their favorite events.”

After soft-launching in select nightclubs, Volcan X.A was rolled out nationwide last April. The confirmed additive-free, $175 expression boasts a blended mix of reposado, añejo and extra añejo tequilas.

Volcan de Mi Tierra represents LVHM’s first and only foray into the booming tequila market. Best known for high-end spirits like Hennessy Cognac and Moët & Chandon Champagne, the luxury megabrand came into being after Moët & Hennessy merged with fashion house Louis Vuitton in 1987. Evidently, the merger paid off; as of 2023, LVHM is ranked the most valuable company in Europe.
