VIDEO: Whiskey Expert Tastes Bourbon Barrel Aged Wine

Barrel Aged Wine

Whiskey Raiders tastes … a barrel aged wine?

In the latest Whiskey Raiders YouTube video, spirits critic and whiskey expert Jay West, aka t8ke, decided to try something a little bit outside of his usual whiskey wheelhouse — a barrel-aged red wine.

Jay tasted Robert Mondavi Private Selection Bourbon Barrel Aged Cabernet Red Wine and gave his thoughts on the wine, barrel-aged wines in general, the overlap between the worlds of whiskey and wine, and more.

If you’re interested in tasting the wine for yourself, you can find it at a Total Wine near you. It’s very affordable.
