Have you ever wanted to have a hard seltzer and eat hot wings at the same time but hate the mess? Then The Boston Beer Co. brand, Truly Hard Seltzer has a solution with “no napkins required”. Truly Hard Seltzer is introducing the first-ever Hot Wing Sauce Hard Seltzer just in time for Superbowl festivities.

“We’re all about keeping it light, so we’re bringing drinkers everything they need to accompany the cheers, jeers, and tears of game day in one convenient package with Truly Hot Wing Sauce Hard Seltzer,” said Matt Withington, Truly Hard Seltzer’s senior director of marketing, in a statement. “We’ve kicked things up a notch with this flavor exploration inspired by the flavor lab at Truly L.A. and can’t wait for fans to try this fun and playful combination that’s sure to score.”

Food-inspired beverage creations have been gaining popularity, with brands increasingly collaborating with alcohol in recent years. KFC, Arby’s and even Hooters have released boozed-up beverage versions of their iconic edible fare. Recently, the gameday go-to chip brand, Doritos unveiled its own nacho cheese liquor. Perhaps fans could have an entire gameday spread with just the beverages alone.

The hot wing inspired seltzers will be available in 4 packs ahead of the big game. Each of the spicy 16-oz cans has a 5% Abv. The Hot Wing Sauce flavor is a limited edition so it will only be available for a short time.

This strange yet intriguing beverage may be one of the wackiest plays from a booze brand for the Superbowl but will Truly score with the fans? If you want a chance to see if Truly’s Hot Wing Sauce Hard Seltzer is a touchdown then packs will be available in select markets while supplies last starting Monday, Jan. 29.
