Ryan Reynolds, Canadian-American actor and co-owner of Aviation Gin, has offered fans of his spirit the chance to win two tickets to next year’s Super Bowl. The last-minute ad unveiling the sweepstake opportunity was uploaded to YouTube on Sunday, right before the Super Bowl officially kicked off.

“Hey everybody,” Reynolds says in the video. “Today is the Super Bowl, and you’re probably wondering why Aviation Gin hasn’t done anything.”

“Well as you know, I’ve been spending a lot of time with… other football lately,” Reynolds continues, while a clip cuts to him at a soccer game. Presumably, Reynolds is seen cheering on Wrexham AFC, the lower-division Welsh soccer team he co-owns with “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” producer, writer and star, Rob McElhenney.

“But we love our Aviation and NFL fans. So, we’re going to come up with something right now.”

Reynolds quickly brainstorms the idea of a sweepstake in which fans watching the Super Bowl can score a chance to win tickets to next year’s big game during each of the official two-minute warnings.

After unveiling his clever concept, Reynolds asks: “That’s pretty good, right?”

“This gives us a year to sort through the… the legal.”

Anyone who saw the ad in time could then visit 2ginutewarning.com during the two-minute warnings to enter the sweepstakes.

“The two gin-ute warning is a thing,” Reynolds adds. “I like it. It’s not great, but it will do.”

If you missed your chance to enter the Two Gin-ute Warning Sweepstakes, all is not lost! Visiting the website offers imbibers a code to get $5 off a bottle of Aviation Gin through Drizly.
