The Sun reported on Friday that Prince William was spotted at a pub in Wrexham, Wales, doing shots with one of the stars of “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,” Rob McElhenney, amid rumors about Kate Middleton’s disappearance from the public.
The royal poured a pint at The Turf pub, which is known as a celebrity hangout. Prince William leaned into some self-deprecating humor:
“Still got a horrible head on it,” the royal explained when referring to the beer. “This is why I don’t work behind the bar.”
Reps confirmed that the whisky the pair shot at The Turf, was McElhenney’s brand, Four Walls, which he released alongside two other “Always Sunny” stars in 2022. In February, Four Walls announced a partnership with the Welsh football club, Wrexham A.F.C.

Prince William was spotted having a good time hours after the palace issued a statement in an attempt to quell conspiracy rumors about the princess’s health.
A spokesperson for the palace told People that Kate Middleton was “doing well” on Feb. 29:
“We were very clear from the outset that the Princess of Wales was out until after Easter and Kensington Palace would only be providing updates when something was significant.”
Yet, the internet doesn’t seem to be buying it. Conspiracy theories have been swirling around social media that the princess might not be doing as well as the royals have claimed.
An individual shared their thoughts on the princess’ disappearance in a post on X, formerly Twitter, that has been viewed more than 7.8 million.
“You’re telling me that Kate Middleton — the same woman who posed outside the hospital like a freaking supermodel mere hours after giving birth — suddenly requires months of recovery before showing her face? This feels… sinister.”
The New York Times reported on Friday that the Princess has not been seen in public since Christmas Day.
On Jan. 17, Kate Middleton was admitted to the hospital for abdominal surgery, and the news came as a surprise, especially since King Charles announced a cancer diagnosis mere hours after. To increase further speculation, Prince William has been canceling public appearances.
Rumors reached new heights when a Spanish journalist, Concha Calleja reported that the Princess of Wales “faced serious complications after her surgery,” according to the New York Times. Calleja claimed that Kate had to be intubated and was put in an induced coma.
The palace claimed Calleja’s statements were untrue, and the The Times of London reported on Feb. 1 that a source close to the family shared their thoughts on the matter:
“It’s total nonsense,” the source said, according to The Times. “No attempt was made by that journalist to fact-check anything that she said with anyone in the household.”
