We all know the saying, “Don’t judge a book by its cover.” But sometimes, a person just can’t help themselves — especially when it comes to whiskey. Drinking whiskey is an experience that enlists all five of our senses, and a certain amount of visual appeal is necessary for the most pleasurable experience possible. Beautiful liquid deserves beautiful packaging, and with The Busker Irish Whiskey’s new look for its Single Collection, the exterior reflects the elegant liquid within.

The Busker is one of the only distilleries to produce all three major styles of Irish whiskey under one roof: single malt, single grain and single pot still. The Busker operates out of Royal Oak Distillery, an 18th-century building. In true estate fashion, the master distilling team has total control over the distillation process and works exclusively with Irish grains sourced 40 miles away from the distillery.

The master distilling team painstakingly implements a distinctive aging regimen, housing the liquid in a mixture of bourbon, sherry and Marsala wine casks.

The brand’s revitalized packaging reflects its ethos. You shouldn’t have to pay a small fortune for a bit of everyday luxury. Thus, The Busker decided to bring a little bit of unfussy finesse to its Single Collection with sleek packaging composed of thicker glass. For an extra special touch, the distillery’s name is embossed on the brand-new bottle design.

Despite the line’s luxurious look, The Busker Single Collection features a remarkably affordable price of $39.99 for each 700-milliliter bottle. Each bottling hosts a modest proof of 88.6, making these whiskeys easy to drink neat or on the rocks.

As far as appearances go, The Busker’s Single Collection undoubtedly channels elegant minimalism. But let’s take a second to discuss the whiskey within.

The Busker Single Grain

This light whiskey was matured in bourbon and Marsala wine casks sourced from Sicily’s Cantine Florio 1833 for an incredibly luscious sipping experience. The Busker Single Grain is incredibly light and delicate, with plenty of toasted hay and cereal grain aromas that leap out of the glass. Picture luxurious vanilla bean, drizzled with warm caramel. A pleasant amount of oak adds a beautiful spine to this whiskey and just the right amount of structure.

The Busker Single Malt

For an Irish single malt whiskey with a bit of depth, look no further than The Busker Single Malt. This whiskey was distilled in copper stills maturing to perfection in bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks. The Oloroso casks impart deliciously dark fruits to the pour, a bit of pine resin and a rich chocolatey finish. With plenty of complexity, The Busker’s Single Malt offers an opulent and cerebral sipping experience.

The Busker Single Pot Still

If you’re looking for a taste of Ireland, The Busker’s Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey is the way to go. This whiskey is made from a mashbill of malted and unmalted Irish barley, and it was distilled in copper pot stills. The Busker’s Master Distilling team matured this whiskey in a blend of bourbon and sherry casks. This spicy single pot still Irish whiskey possesses a vibrant nose, with plenty of intense pepper aromas adding zest to its toffee-driven throughline.
