On Saturday, Bro Bible spilled the tea — er, whiskey — that Mike Gundy is a fan of brown booze.

When asked in an interview what his favorite flavor of soda was, Gundy simply replied, “Well, I love whiskey.”

According to Bro Bible, the Oklahoma State football coach revealed to media that he often watches football games on TV while taking notes with a crayon and drinking Diet Coke.

On Saturday, Oklahoma State beat Oklahoma in the final Bedlam game.

“It’s a big deal. I mean, this is the last Bedlam,” Gundy said, according to ESPN. “All the Oklahoma State people have put up with a lot of crap for 100 years. They’ve had their butt kicked a bunch. Now they’re going to walk around and say we won the last game.”

Whether Gundy celebrated the win with a nip of whiskey is unclear.

On Reddit, fans of Gundy expressed their approval after a user posted one of the ESPN Reporter, Dave Wilson’s tweets about Gundy being a whiskey aficionado.

“September OK State Fans: ‘Gundy has gotten old. He needs to retire. November OK State fans: ‘Gundy, forgive us for our sins.'” a top comment read.

Another user called the football team’s turnaround this season “incredible.”

After Oklahoma State won Saturday’s game, fans took down a goal post, according to The Oklahoman.

The jubilant crowd took the post down, carried it out of the stadium and threw it into the Theta Pond on campus in celebration of the victory.

Before Saturday’s hotly-anticipated game, one Reddit user quipped: “Fill up that Yeti tonight Coach.”
