Kevin Hart Tequila Brand Gran Coramino Introduces New Añejo

Kevin Hart Tequila Brand’s Newest Expression – Gran Coramino Añejo
Following the runaway success of Gran Coramino Tequila, Kevin Hart has announced the brand’s second-ever tequila expression, Gran Coramino Añejo.
This añejo is first matured in both American and French oak barrels for 12 months, then blended with additional añejo reserves matured in ex-cognac casks. The final product combines signature añejo flavors of baked agave and oaky barreling with cognac-leaning notes of coffee beans and toasted cacao.
In a press release, Kevin Hart says that “bringing añejo to both tequila connoisseurs and new tequila drinkers alike has been a goal since we launched Gran Coramino – I’m positive everyone will love it as much as I do.”
Launched as a joint venture between Kevin Hart and 11th generation tequila producer Juan Domingo Beckmann, Gran Coramino has up until this point only released one expression to market. The original Gran Coramino Reposado Cristalino is an expression aged in Eastern European oak barrels then filtered for clarity using the increasingly popular method of charcoal filtration.

While Gran Coramino Cristalino is aged in Cabernet Sauvignon wine casks which provide a bright berry finish, the choice of cognac casks for Gran Coramino Añejo is a welcome change that embraces the spirits’ dark syrupy roots.
Co-founder Juan Domingo Beckmann remarks that “this is one of the most complex and robust Añejo’s I have created, and will be attractive to both tequila enthusiasts and cognac drinkers alike.”
As of today, Kevin Hart’s Gran Coramino Añejo has hit the market for the price of $113. You can find it on the Gran Coramino website here.
