Hendrick’s latest quest in peculiarity has led to the cultivation efforts of rare, unusual cucumbers. Announced on Sept. 7th, the “Curious Cucumber Collection” features six varieties of cucumbers from around the world — and can be yours for $48 (Hendrick’s Gin not included).

For over 3o years, The Chef’s Garden has worked hard to supply fresh, specialty produce to “the world’s finest chefs and their restaurants.” These same vegetables and microgreens are also available for direct home delivery via Farmer Jones Farm. By ordering the “Curious Cucumber Collection,” both of these Ohioan farms are supported.
The collection includes Cucamelon, African Horned, Hmong Red, Muromsky, Gagon and Aonaga Jibai cucumbers. But what does one do after procuring a box of these rare beauties? Why only a Hendrick’s Gin cocktail will suffice! In addition to a tasting mat and “Rare Cucumber Sampler Field Companion,” cocktail recipe cards are included in the collection.
Shipping starts on Sept. 19th, so if creative cucumber cocktails and supporting specialty farms pique your fancy, preorder your box here.
