In a recent episode of the Discovery Channel’s “Ghost Adventures,” one of the ghost hunters, Billy Tolley, claimed he was feeling a “weird impulse” to drink whiskey, caused by spirits.

As a result, he drank three shots, despite warnings from his co-hunters that he was going to get drunk.

The Discovery Channel posted the clip on its TikTok account, and the video has amassed more than 3 million views and 305,000 “likes.” While this may sound like a joke, the hunter sounded completely serious in the clip.

“They want me to drink another whiskey, dude,” Tolley said in the video. “That’s a weird impulse. That is a weird impulse, man.”

Tolley, 50, has worked on “Ghost Adventures” since 2016.

“Out of all the times that we’ve been ghost hunting and stuff, I have never had an impulse — I want to drink that right now. I want another shot of this whiskey right now.”

“Then you’re gonna be drunk,” responded someone off camera.

“It’s the weirdest thing, like I want to do it,” Tolley said. “Can I just do it?”

His co-hunter advised against taking his third shot of whiskey, warning him he might get drunk, but Tolley apparently couldn’t resist the ghastly influences.

“Nah, they’re telling me we should do it. Cheers,” Tolley said.

Two off-camera hunters discussed the strange behavior among themselves, noting that Tolley had never acted like this before.

“It feels good,” Tolley said, setting down the shot glass.
