Fred Sirieix has been named G’Vine Gin‘s very first U.K. ambassador as part of the brand’s wider “Gin Your Way” U.K. marketing campaign launched in October.

Sirieix is an all-around TV personality known for his roles as Maître d’ on “First Dates” and presenter of “My Million Pound Menu.” He started his career in the food industry and was the general manager for Michelin-starred restaurant, Galvin at Windows.

The “Gin Your Way” campaign seeks to inspire new ways to enjoy gin. Sirieix will utilize his industry expertise to create “drinking experiences” for consumers.

Currently, the brand is producing a video series where Sirieix visits his home country, France, to explore the Cognac origins of G’Vine Gin.

“G’Vine is different to traditional gins because it is made with grapes not grain and this makes it very smooth, also like me,” Sirieix stated in a report. “G’Vine is me in a bottle!”

G’Vine recalls gin’s origins as grape-based genever and is self-described as “floral, yet refreshingly round and smooth.” The French gin is also made with grape vine blossoms, citrus, juniper, lime and cardamom.

“Fred embodies G’Vine perfectly. His passion, knowledge and expertise make him relevant when talking about wine, spirits and gastronomy,” Jean-Sébastien Robicquet, G’Vine’s founder and master distiller, stated in a report. Furthermore our friendship and shared origin of France make him a natural addition to the Maison Villevert family.”

G’Vine is available in over 60 countries and was only just recently launched in the U.S. in 2021.

This 40% ABV gin can be found here for $32.99.
