Netflix’s ‘Bridgerton’, Tanqueray Gin Team Up on Promo Starring Joe Jonas, Cocktail Kits Themed After the Show

Massive spirits company Diageo this month launched a promotional video for its Tanqueray brand of gin, with the help of pop star Joe Jonas and hit Netflix show “Bridgerton,” which began its second season March 25.

The promo, called “How to T-Time Like a Bridgerton,” includes Jonas, who introduces himself as “Joseph Jonas the First,” who hosts “T-Time” — the “T” stands for Tanquery, of course. Jonas is joined by comedian, writer and actress Phoebe Robinson and “Bridgerton” star Jonathan Bailey, who give Jonas some lessons in how to be a Bridgerton.

As part of the campaign, Diageo and Bridgerton are offering fans the chance to win one of three exclusive “Bridgerton”-inspired experiences. To enter, show how you #makeitTtime by sharing an original photo or video on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook highlighting your best ways of dancing, drinking and dressing for “T-time.”

The three experiences available to be won are:

  • Exclusive access to The Queen’s Ball experience in New York City, including complimentary hotel accommodations, an appointment with a stylist who will dress them in the finest Regency-era regalia, a “T-time” happy hour experience and VIP access to The Queen’s Ball, an immersive “Bridgerton”-themed ball.
  • A curated “Bridgerton” Watch Party with up to 10 friends featuring Regency-era décor and a “T-time” cocktail experience hosted at a lavish hotel suite or viewing location.
  • A Regency-Era Live Oil Painting where 10 friends come along to a boisterous “T-time” party in a luxurious hotel suite, where a stylist will costume everyone in “Bridgerton”-inspired fineries, and a live painter will whip up an expertly rendered Regency-era painting of you and your guests.

Finally, Tanqueray and “Bridgerton” are offering limited-edition cocktail kits, available now for purchase via CocktailCourier.com. Three kits are available, each representing a different family from the show: The Bridgertons, the Featheringtons and the Sharmas.

The Bridgerton kit, Diamond of the Season, costs $71.99. It comes with a 750-milliliter bottle of Tanqueray London Dry Gin, two bottles of Cocktail Courier honey syrup, a packet of dried blueberries, a blueberry hibiscus tea, four lemons and a packet of blue tulip garnish picks.

The Featherington kit, Birds of a Featherington, costs $71.99. It includes a 750-milliliter bottle of Tanqueray Sevilla Orange Gin, two bottles of Cocktail Courier jasmine mint syrup, six lemons and a packet of green tulip garnish picks.

The Sharma kit, Sharma Twist, costs $84.99.Ir comes with a 750-milliliter bottle of Tanqueray Rangpur Lime Gin, four cans of sparkling wine, a bottle of Cocktail Courier early grey lavender syrup, a bottle of lavender bitters, a packet of lavender stems and three lemons.

Each kit makes eight drinks and also includes white elbow-length gloves, two glass cocktail teacups and two gold teaspoons.

“Teatime in the Regency Era was the epitome of elegance,” Christina Choi, SVP of Rum, Tequila, Gin at Diageo, said in a news release. “And with the second season of ‘Bridgerton’ on the horizon, I think it’s the perfect time to bring this grand tradition out of the sitting rooms, drawing rooms and garden gazebos of yore to give it a fresh, modern-day twist. ‘T-time’ is the perfect occasion to take a break from your day-to-day routine, adding a little bit of sparkle, scandal and surprise to your life by enjoying a delightful Tanqueray cocktail or two with your friends and loved ones.”
