Canadian electronic music producer and DJ Joel Zimmerman, known professionally as Deadmau5, has partnered with “the original hard coconut water” brand, CoCo Vodka, for his first liquor endorsement, reported We Rave You.

“There is something to be said about a drink in a can that tastes good. Plus they are an independent Canadian business so I like to support,” said Deadmau5, per We Rave You.

CoCo Vodka ready-to-drink beverages are available in over 30 U.S. states and 6 provinces in Canada. The brand first launched in 2019 and is made with real coconut water, triple distilled vodka and sparkling water. CoCo Vodka is canned at 5% ABV and can be found for around $12.99 per four-pack.

“Partnering with a worldwide icon like Joel and the deadmau5 team is surreal,” said Co-Founder of CoCo Vodka Mark Convery, We Rave You reported. “Av and I are huge deadmau5 fans, and we have no doubt all the fans will equally enjoy CoCo Vodka as much as we all enjoy deadmau5’s music.”

Fans first got a taste of this partnership — and CoCo Vodka —  on Nov. 3 and Nov. 4 at the Denver “mau5hop” pop-up during Deadmau5’s current tour, “We Are Friends,” reported We Rave You.
