The cans in the pack will have a QR code fans can scan to win a trip to Vegas from April 6-8 for a watch party during the Final Four and National Championship
Winners will receive roundtrip airfare for two to Las Vegas, two nights in a double occupancy suite at a hotel and tickets to the VIP Watch Party on Saturday, April 6.
Winners will be drawn March 31, and Bud Light will contact the winner via email on April 1.
Bud Light additionally announced that it will host a National Pop-A-Shot tournament at bars in Birmingham and Tuscaloosa until the beginning of April. Customers over 21 years of age can enter and potentially win a $10,000 grand prize.
Bars that are participating are Beef-O-Brady’s, The Battery, Birmingham City Walk, Moe’s BBQ Lakeview, Crestwood Tavern, DC Social and The Booth.
Alabama was voted 19th in the final AP Top 25 poll of the season and finished the season on a downward trajectory, losing four of its final six games.
Alabama wound up with a 4 seed. It will be interesting to see whether the Tide can turn things around against 13th-seeded Charleston at 6:30 p.m. CST Friday.
Speaking of turning things around, Bud Light is trying to do the same after losing $1 billion in 2023 for reasons we won’t get into here.
In early February, the brand unveiled a Super Bowl commercial with the talents of the singer Post Malone, former NFL quarterback Peyton Manning, the UFC CEO Dana White and The Bud Light Genie.
“We had a lot of fun making this commercial,” Manning said according to a news release. “… I’m sure a lot of people are going to be thinking through what they would wish for if they were lucky enough to meet the Bud Light Genie.”
