On Friday, Buckingham Palace debuted a pink gin designed to be the perfect tipple to enjoy during celebrations of King Charles III’s Coronation.

Royal Windsor Pink Gin expands upon The Royal Collection Trust’s established gin catalog, which features a successful London dry gin that sold out within eight hours in 2022 and a fruity 26% ABV sloe gin.

Royal Windsor Pink Gin is made using hand-picked raspberries from the Windsor Castle Estate, lending the spirit a bright pink hue and fruity finish. Other botanicals include pink peppercorns, warming cassia bark, orange peel and rose petals.

“The gin pairs beautifully with ginger beer for a fiery twist on the classic Gin and Tonic,” The Royal Collection Trust writes. “Garnished with fresh raspberries and orange peel, this rosy tipple will make the perfect accompaniment to Coronation celebrations in May.”

Charles himself has been noted as a true fan of gin, having once shared a bottle of his Buckingham Palace Dry with Director and cocktail enthusiast Paul Feig. Charles also reportedly enjoys a martini every night and even has a special glass that he takes with him when traveling, solely to be used for the classic gin cocktail.

Royal Windsor Pink Gin can be purchased for £38.00 ($45.75) per 70 cl bottle, available for delivery exclusively to addresses in the U.K., Germany, New Zealand and Australia.

All proceeds from gin sales go to The Royal Collection Trust, a registered charity, to help it continue caring for and restoring the Royal Collection, one of the world’s largest private collections of art.
