Now you can party with everyone else with these easy-to-make large-batch rum cocktails. Batch cocktails are not only delicious but also allow you to spend more time enjoying the festivities and less time behind the bar. 

Rum and Apple Cider Sangria

Sangria is one of the easiest batch cocktails to make and serve and as the crisp air of autumn settles in, there’s nothing quite like a comforting blend of seasonal flavors to share at your gatherings. This rum and apple cider sangria is a delightful concoction that captures the essence of fall in every sip. The cocktail brings together the richness of rum with the sweet, autumnal notes of an apple orchard.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups dark rum (we recommend Barcelo Imperial) 
  • 4 cups apple cider
  • 1 bottle white wine
  • 1 cup ginger beer
  • 2 apples sliced
  • 2 cinnamon sticks 

Directions

Mix rum, apple cider, white wine, and ginger beer in a large pitcher. Add sliced apples and cinnamon sticks. Chill in the refrigerator before serving.  

Gingerbread Rum Eggnog

Spiked Eggnog is without a doubt THE holiday drink. Step it up another notch by giving it a spirited gingerbread twist by adding spices and molasses. Many rums are made from a molasses base so this recipe is a perfect harmony of flavors that will be sure to delight partiers. 

Ingredients

  • 4 cups eggnog
  • 1 cup spiced rum 
  • 1 cup dark rum (sweet molasses-based rum like Diplomatico recommended)
  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tsp  ground allspice
  • ½ tsp ground cloves
  • Garnish: cinnamon stick and ground nutmeg

Directions

In a large bowl, whisk together spiced rum, eggnog, molasses, and spices. Let chill in the refrigerator. Pour into glasses and top with a sprinkle of nutmeg and a cinnamon stick.

Winter Sorel Sangria

This sangria gives all the vibes of a classy holiday soiree without the effort. The sangria is made with wine, winter fruit, cinnamon, rum and sorel – a special ingredient that elevates the winter flavors to a whole new level.

Sorel is a popular sweet spiced hibiscus drink in the Caribbean. With all the flavors of ginger, cinnamon and allspice it’s no wonder this tasty beverage is commonly enjoyed around the holiday season. 

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Sorel Liqueur (Find it here or search the brand’s website)
  • 1 bottle of red wine 
  • 1/2 cup of dark rum  (Jamaican rum like Appleton recommended)
  • 1 ½  cups of pomegranate juice
  • ¼ cup pomegranate seeds
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 star anise
  • 1 plum sliced 
  • 1 half orange sliced

Directions 

Combine all of the ingredients in a large pitcher and chill until serving to let the spices and fruit marry. Serve cold or on ice. 

Spiced Rum Punch

We at Rum Raiders would be remiss to not have at least one rum punch recipe for easy batch cocktails. This isn’t just a drink; it’s the centerpiece of your holiday soirée, an iconic beverage that effortlessly infuses cheer and the warmth of the Caribbean into any room.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups spiced rum
  • 3 cups cranberry juice
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/4 cup simple syrup
  • 2 Sliced oranges, 
  • ½ cup cranberries
  •  2 cinnamon sticks 

Directions

Combine all ingredients in a large punch bowl. Add the sliced oranges, cranberries, and cinnamon sticks. Stir well before serving over ice.
