A viral TikTok of an angry San Francisco 49ers fan smashing a Jack Daniel’s whiskey bottle against a TV after the team’s loss in the Super Bowl has gone viral, amassing more than 228,000 likes. Viewers have plenty of comments.

Jennifer Duran posted a video of what Storyful reported to be her stepfather smashing a bottle of whiskey against the television after his team lost. The video can be viewed below:

TikTokers expressed their feelings in the comments:

“Instant divorce. That’s unhinged in this economy. I’ve watched my Chiefs lose the SB & no one I was with reacted like this,” a user commented.

Another made a dig at the irate fan:

“The same dudes that were mad at Taylor Swift for being there.”

Despite the intense reaction, the majority of individuals at what appeared to be a Super Bowl viewing party remained calm as the man smashed the whiskey bottle against the television.

“Either it’s staged or that’s his TV because everyone in the room was way too calm to be ok with that lol,” one commenter wrote.

The San Francisco 49ers ended up losing to the Kansas City Chiefs by three points in an exciting game that went into overtime.

Though many people watching the game were focused on the action on the field, some people were more interested in action taking place in the stands, as Taylor Swift was in attendance at the game to support her boyfriend, Travis Kelce.

Swift’s appearance at the game has been the subject of media headlines for weeks leading up to the event, and CNN reported on Feb. 3 that the Japanese Embassy issued a statement promising the pop star would make it to the game in time after her concert in the country.

“Despite the 12-hour flight and 17-hour time difference, the Embassy can confidently Speak Now to say that if she departs Tokyo in the evening after her concert, she should comfortably arrive in Las Vegas before the Super Bowl begins,” the Embassy said, with a clever easter egg alluding to the singer’s “Speak Now” album.
