Wyoming Whiskey National Parks No. 2 honors Yellowstone’s 150th anniversary and supports Yellowstone Forever’s efforts to protect and preserve the park. This limited edition whiskey is a straight bourbon made from 68% corn, 20% wheat and 12% malted barley.
As with the first release, this is fairly classic stuff, but the added octane helps to elevate some of those traditional qualities. Another fitting tipple to toast our beautiful National Parks.
So, Wyoming Whiskey’s Yellowstone special sits well within the boundaries of traditional bourbon, albeit with a noteworthy twist that gives it some character.
This 5-year-old Bourbon has a nose rich with sandalwood, orange custard, and a hint of grilled peaches. The taste has an excellent balance of wood spices, toffee, salted caramel, chocolate, and honey.
