This was easily the most unique Ledaig that I have had before. The sweet nose, hugely rich mouth feel and buttery texture was really pleasant. Smoke balancing in the finish did it well, also.

House Review
Nose:
Buttered rolls, vanilla butter cream, super sweet icing note. Faint smokiness. Overall, very much a light, buttery, doughy dessert nose with some smoke on the back end.
Taste:
Thick, rich, no real heat, despite the monster proof. Oily, rich, buttery mouth feel. Sweet lemon, vanilla, doughy dinner rolls. Faint minerality. Bold smoke presence and some pipe tobacco.
Finish:
Long, growing heat. Very prominent smoke here taking over the previous dessert notes. Still very buttery presence though.
