Released in November 2024, this is the first single-barrel release from Eric LeGrand Whiskey, founded by LeGrand, a former Rutgers football player who was paralyzed from the neck down during a game. LeGrand is donating $5.20 from every case of bourbon he sells to the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation, which works to find a cure for paralysis. Eric LeGrand Bourbon is sourced from Green River in Owensboro, Kentucky. This expression is bottled at 52% ABV and costs $62.99.

  • Nose:

    Fruit-forward, sweet, balanced and delectable nose. A big orange peel note is joined by peaches and cream, graham cracker, cinnamon, cherry and marshmallow fluff.

  • Taste:

    Apple pie leads the palate, joined by peanut brittle, oak, tannin, pretzel, orange peel and crème brûlée.

  • Finish:

    Warming finish with plenty of oak and tannin, plus crisp apple, cinnamon, brown sugar and banana nut muffins.

  • Overall:

    This is a dynamite single barrel. Well done, Green River and Eric LeGrand. Delicious bourbon.
