  • A little melted ice improves the entire situation, though the finish feels overly peppery and a bit flat. Not a bad effort, but I couldn’t drink more than one.

  • Ish Spritz is a nice interpretation of the boozy classic. It’s tart and interesting enough that it can be sipped upon for a while. If you crave a sweeter, juicier spritz, though, this might not quite hit the spot.

  • Nose:

This non-alcoholic cocktail is tart and effervescent on the nose with notes of sugared cranberries and clove. It smells like a bright, inviting holiday punch.

  • Taste:

The palate opens with a quick smack of blood orange, pomegranate and sour cherry, which gives way to the dry, bitter bite of quinine, cassia, orange peel and grapefruit.

  • Finish:

The medium-length finish fizzles out with more bitter, earthy herbs and a brush of cinnamon oil and pine needles.

  • Overall:

Ish Spritz is a nice interpretation of the boozy classic. It’s tart and interesting enough that it can be sipped upon for a while. If you crave a sweeter, juicier spritz, though, this might not quite hit the spot. I want a glass of water after drinking it.
