  • This is my kind of scotch. It doesn’t leave me smacking my lips, but coats my palate with a warm buzz and a complexity that keeps me going back to explore more.

  • Nothing much to add; it's very much in line with the 2023 batch, though it feels slightly softer, perhaps. No need to pen a novel each time, I like it a lot, there.

Heavy, phenolic, ashy and loaded with peat, this batch is perhaps the most vibrant yet. Ash, lemon, butter cream, some buttery pastry, phenolic maritime peat with a good deal of burning wood.

  • Taste:

Moderate palate, plenty of vanilla, honey, butter scotch, almond, ashy peat, minerality and maritime salinity.

  • Finish:

Long finish, honey and butter, toffee and some minerality. Burning wood, a touch of phenolic peat.

  • Overall:

Overall, this batch is a pleasant upgrade from batches before it, dialing up minerality, peat and tons of sweetness.
