  • There’s nothing less to say other than this is a masterclass of bourbon. An absolutely decadent, rich, storied, masterclass. Powerful and rich and absolutely loaded with life. Wonderful.

  • The finish is hot, as you would expect, but from beginning to end this bourbon is layered and textured and complex despite its hefty ABV (or perhaps because of it), and it’s probably the best recent example of King of Kentucky I’ve tasted.

Rich on the palate, velvety, supple, rich and layered, wildly complex. Cherry cola, rich tobacco, brown sugar, brûlée, decadent pot de crème, barrel char, heavy oak, root beer and a gorgeous luxardo note.

Long finish, rich and powerful once more, absolutely long lasting and packed with maple, buttercream, tobacco, cherry cola, luxardo, espresso, pot de crème, butterscotch and deep, dark fruits like fig and blackberry.
