  • A nice bottling here, the low proof initially concerned me but this release does a great job of bringing big flavors to a crushable and easy to drink release with plenty of wine character to stay interesting and unique.

  • Nose:

Big spice on the nose, joined by malty cocoa, toffee, butterscotch, red berries and a touch of spice.

  • Taste:

Moderate on the palate. A pleasant blend of toffee, sweet oak, some rye spice and big red and black berries, currant and fig.

  • Finish:

Long finish, nicely integrated here with a great combination of cassis, fig, raspberry and blackberry, rye spice and custard.

  • Overall:

A nice bottling here. The low proof initially concerned me, but this release does a great job of bringing big flavors to a crushable and easy to drink release with plenty of wine character to stay interesting and unique.
