Matthew McConaughey Gets Dirty to Promote Latest Pantalones Cocktail in Risqué Campaign

Matthew McConaughey is giving a whole new meaning to the phrase “getting dirty” thanks to his new promo for Pantalones Tequila’s latest cocktail release just in time for Labor Day Weekend. On Tuesday, the tequila brand unveiled its latest risqué promo, featuring the “True Detective” actor and his wife, Camila, mowing the lawn without pants on.

Here’s hoping neither of them have grass allergies.

This promo marks the most recent within a series of pantsless images of the actor and his wife as part of the tequila brand’s “Official Tequila Of…” campaign. As the “Official Tequila of Mowing Your Lawn,” the McConaugheys wanted to show the world that life doesn’t have to be so serious and that there are plenty of things you can do without your pants on.

The duo unveiled the brand’s “Lawn Jorts” cocktail, a drink made with Pantalones Blanco, honeydew melon juice, orange liqueur, mint leaves and agave syrup.

The brand’s “Official Tequila Of…” campaign captures the McConaugheys in slice-of-life moments without pants on. In May, the duo played pickleball bottomless just in time for Cinco de Mayo. For National Tequila Day in July, the couple posed by the pool — partially covered, of course.

With each cheeky — excuse the pun — campaign, Pantalones Tequila drops distinctive tequila cocktail recipes. The latest recipe from the brand is included below for agave enthusiasts looking to live it up during Labor Day weekend.

Pantalones Tequila touts that it is a sustainably-focused agave brand, and for every bottle of Pantalones, 1% of the revenue is sold to the brand’s “environmental non-profit partners.” Pantalones features a blanco, reposado and añejo tequila within its portfolio. The blanco is priced at $44.99, reposado is priced at $49.99 and the añejo is priced at $54.99.

Ingredients

• 2 oz Pantalones Organic Blanco Tequila
• 1.5 oz Honeydew Melon Juice
• 1 oz Orange Liqueur
• 1 oz Lime Juice
• .25 oz Agave Syrup
• 4 Mint Leaves (1 for Garnish)

Instructions

Muddle fresh honeydew melon and strain the juice. Using a shaker with Pantalones Organic Blanco Tequila, fresh honeydew juice, lime juice, orange liqueur and agave syrup drop the mint leaves in. Muddle the mint leaves so the juices intermingle and mesh into your drink. Drop ice cubes and shake. Put honeydew cocktail into a glass and garnish with mint leaf.
