Lillet announced Monday that as part of a partnership with the “Emily In Paris” show, the spirits brand would be hosting a Parisian bistro-inspired pop-up in New York City to kick off the recent release of the brand’s limited-edition bottles honoring the Netflix series. The pop-up bistro will take place Aug. 14-15.

News of the release of the spiffy “Emily In Paris”-themed bottles of Lillet broke out in early July, and both brands planned this Parisian-themed way to showcase these spirits. The brands claim the bistro is inspired by “L’Espirit de Gigi,” a fictional restaurant from the popular Netflix show.

Francophiles and fans alike who are 21 years of age or older can enjoy Lillet aperitifs and French dishes. The brands claimed they would be offering “Apéritif Musique” performances, a selfie station and custom art for the experiences. The brands shared the bespoke “Emily In Paris” Lillet bottles can be purchased online at ReserveBar, where the collection currently is available for pre-order.

More About Lillet – an Aperitif With Historic Roots

Lillet was purchased by Pernod Ricard in 2008, and the French aperitif has roots that date back to 1872. The aperitif is made from 85% of Bordeaux region wines. The grapes typically used are Semillon for the blanc expression and Merlot for the rouge expression. Many mixologists used Lillet in Vesper Martinis, which gained popularity from the James Bond franchise.

The bartop staple also happens to be in the favorite cocktail of pop icon, Taylor Swift. Swift is partial to a cocktail called the French Blonde, which contains gin, St-Germain Elderflower Liqueur, grapefruit juice, lemon bitters and Lillet Blanc. If you’re interested in a recipe for Swift’s go-to tipple, you can view it here.
