Stranahan’s Colorado Whiskey is joining forces with Fishpond to release the Rocky Mountain Angler’s Bundle, which features a bespoke fishing net and the brand’s Blue Peak American Single Malt. The collaboration dropped just as National Fishing Month kicked off on July 24.

The bundle can be purchased directly from Stranahan’s for $217 and features a net from Fishpond.

The net is made from carbon fiber and fiberglass, and the brands describe it as “light and durable.” A basket with the dimensions of 13 by 18 inches and a depth of 12 inches makes the net perfect for any fisherman’s next catch. The brands shared that it is UV-protected and waterproof.

No day on the water would be complete without a glass of whiskey, and Stranahan’s has chosen to have that bit covered. The brand included its Blue Peak American Single Malt, named after Aspen’s 13,000-foot peak, Blue Peak.

Stranahan’s Blue Peak is double distilled at a higher altitude before it spends four years maturing in new American oak barrels. The barrels hosted a #3 char, which added plenty of toasty qualities to the whiskey.

Blue Peak was finished in a Solera, according to the brand. The American single malt clocks in at a modest 86 proof and if you want to know what critics think about it, you can check out the reviews here.

The Colorado whiskey brand is one of the leading American Single Malt whiskey brands. The brand’s 2023 Diamond Peak Release made our 9 Best Whiskeys We Tasted in July 2024. Diamond Peak is considered one of the brand’s most prestigious offerings, and the 2023 version was finished in José Cuervo Reserva de Familia casks.
