  • Nose:

A big cherry pie note kicks off a very rich nose, joined by almonds, brioche, powdered-sugar-covered beignets, caramel and light cappuccino.

  • Taste:

This bourbon is rich on the palate with big oak, cherry and almond notes. It's very sweet and rich, with some grain-forward cornbread character, but it's mostly confectionary. Crème brûlée, sweet cream, toffee. The delicate cappuccino note from the nose returns on the palate.

  • Finish:

A rich, satisfying finish is kicked off by a huge brioche note, plus plenty of almond character, powdered sugar, buttercream and a final kiss of cappuccino.

  • Overall:

This bourbon is a total knockout. It's beautifully rich and the sort of expression you could sip all day long.

  • Score:
