  • I’ll give it that this definitely is different from nearly any Irish whiskey I’ve had. The wine influence is interesting, but ultimately a bit straightforward with sweetness on the palate and finish. I can’t get over the weird sour/mint dynamic with fruit on the nose though.

  • Perhaps a bit on the sweet side, but would make a most pleasant aperitif or dessert whiskey, and like wine, would be fantastic with some creamy cheeses.
