The taste has a nice hoppy bite, along with a hint of baked oranges, honey, caramel, fudge, subtle spices, and a hint of licorice in the background. The finish is long and hoppy with a touch of baking chocolate.
I still enjoy the Jameson Caskmates IPA quite a bit and looking at it as a piece in a series makes it more interesting and I’m looking forward to what they do next!
This is one to just drink and not put too much thought to it. But if you're a hop head, you may not think Jameson went far enough here. However, the price point is nice enough if curiosity takes over.

Finished in craft beer barrels, this quaffable whiskey offers a bright topaz hue and bracing tropical fruit and grapefruit peel notes. Almond, bitter chocolate and clove tones linger on the exhale.
