This is the original Silkie whiskey from Sliabh Liag Distillers. Bottled at 92 proof, this Irish whiskey is a blend of double- and triple-distilled malts; soft grain whiskey; and peated malt.

Sweet on the nose. Fresh honey, toffee, some lime zest, pepper, orange peel and pear immediately greet you.
Moderate palate, with sweet honey, tart pear, apple, peaches and cream. There’s a satisfying breadiness here, as well as honey, slivered almond and a hint of pepper.
Long, pleasant finish with pepper, light oak, sweet cream and honey. There’s a lot going on here, and it holds on nicely!
Silkie is a pleasant Irish whiskey that’s easily approached and easily enjoyed. Good stuff here!
