O.H Ingram River Aged Whiskey is well on its way to being a great core release. It shows off decadent sweetness and a bit more oak than expected for the age, indicating just a year or two more age should turn this already good whiskey into something to really keep your eye on.
At around three years old, O.H. Ingram River Aged Straight Rye has had enough time in the barrel to mature nicely and develop some interesting and delicious flavors. Although quite delicious, $80 is quite steep for a rye whiskey of this age. Regardless, it’s worth a try!

House Review
Nose:
Sweet cream, brown butter, cake batter and almost a touch of demerara sugar. Sweet overall, with just a touch of clove and spice.
Taste:
Medium body on the palate, plenty of character. No youth which is impressive. Sweet, buttery, brown sugar. Light pepper and spice.
Finish:
Moderate finish, once again pleasantly sweet with a zip of pepper, clove and some nutmeg to complete the profile.
