Super-rich vanilla nose with a little bit of fruit and little cooked agave. It has a buttery-rich texture with some roasted tropical fruits in addition to notes of toffee and caramelized orange peel. It's a very drinkable tequila that has all the smoothness you would ever want, but perhaps could show a little more depth.
At first we liked the smell, but what was interesting was that after it had a chance to breathe it got even better. The taste brought back slightly softer tastes of caramel than the anejo, and maybe a little more nut coming in.
Sharp and peppery on the nose, but undercut by peach and orange fruit notes, the tequila develops slowly to offer a milk chocolate character that layers in more hints of sweetness.
