Distilled at Tequilena SA de CV (NOM 1146) Don Fulano is a newer face on the market. This expression is their Reposado, aged atleast 8 months in a variety of barrels - including wine and cognac.
Bright agave notes, a gummy bear sweetness. Not artificial, but the profile is effervescent, really pops, combining candy sweetness, papaya, biscuits, pepper and a touch of varnish. Sweet lemon zest. A rep with some oaky attitude and it works. Big fan of the complexity here.
Slivery straw color. Meaty, savory, grassy, green, herbal aromas of smoky, savory, chipotle and chorizo sausage. This savory and intriguing Reposado Tequila will be lovely to use for complex cocktails.

House Review
Nose:
Bright agave notes, a gummy bear sweetness. Not artificial, but the profile is effervescent, really pops, combining candy sweetness, papaya, biscuits, pepper and a touch of varnish. Sweet lemon zest.
Taste:
Sweet on the palate, naturally so, with a great mouthfeel. Pepper, the faintest wisp of ash smoke. Vanilla bean, cream, some pepper, a guava note. Oak is there, more than I’d expect, but it works.
Finish:
Medium finish. Pepper, brown sugar, roasted agave. A bit of dough, clove, vanilla bean. Notes of caramel, brown butter.
Overall:
A rep with some oaky attitude and it works. Big fan of the complexity here.
