  • The nose on this rye is a bit of a rollercoaster. It starts off somewhat green with a few grassy notes, but those are quickly overshadowed by dark brown sugar, white pepper, and mint syrup along with hints of red fruits and cigar box.

    Brown sugar, apple, cinnamon, a bit of clove. Dessert and rye spice fusion on the nose,

  • Taste:

    Bright, zippy, spice on the palate. Clove, pepper, dry and spice forward. Apple, pear, a bit of cream and toffee.

  • Finish:

    Long finish. Bold, rich, complex. Brown sugar, apple crisp, honey.

  • Overall:

    Overall, a very satisfying rye that harnesses great rye character without leaning hard into funky mint and metallic tastes.
