Nose:
Brown sugar, apple, cinnamon, a bit of clove. Dessert and rye spice fusion on the nose,
Taste:
Bright, zippy, spice on the palate. Clove, pepper, dry and spice forward. Apple, pear, a bit of cream and toffee.
Finish:
Long finish. Bold, rich, complex. Brown sugar, apple crisp, honey.
Overall:
Overall, a very satisfying rye that harnesses great rye character without leaning hard into funky mint and metallic tastes.
