  • Nose:

    Buttery and sweet on the nose with good cola and pepper, toffee and a hint of ginger.

  • Taste:

    Sweet and creamy on the palate with a hint of oak and a touch of youth. Pepper, ginger, light cocoa and a hint of astringency on the back palate. It’s pleasant.

  • Finish:

    Long finish that combines pepper and some oak with a touch of grassy youth.

  • Overall:

    This rye is so close to being an all-star, with faint youthful characteristics lightly showing up here or there, even if just a glimpse. It’s on the right track and so close to being a great.
