On Wednesday, Chivas Brothers and Pernod Ricard announced the opening of a “luxury whisky retreat” held in a Scottish Victorian manor called the Linn House.
The Speyside guest house will be open to up to 12 guests in six rooms, for the price of £9,600 ($11,785). The entire house can be booked for £19,200 ($23,550).
Individuals can reserve the “whisky retreat” in blocks of six or 12 bedrooms. Guests will have full access to the manor’s facilities which include a Victorian living room with fireplace, an oak-paneled mahogany dining room, and a carefully curated whisky library.

Those who stay will get to experience a “culinary journey” from Linn House’s chef, which features Scottish classics like haggis made from locally sourced produce. Afterward, they will be able to indulge in a nightcap by the Linn House’s outdoor fire pit under the starry evening sky.
The project was led by Jaques-Henri Brive, Chivas Brothers’ head of brand advocacy and prestige acceleration.
“Linn House represents an opportunity for us to encourage global consumers to connect with the region in which many of our iconic whiskies are made,” Brive said in a news release. “Just as a luxury fashion brand has an atelier, or a boutique perfumer has its by-invitation salon; the heart of our whiskies lie here in Scotland.”
Scottish Whisky Tourism has become the No. 1 attraction for visitors heading to Scotland in the last year, according to the Scotch Whisky Association.
The Linn House team will also arrange custom travel plans for its visitors including distillery tours at The Glenlivet and Strathisla or excursions to Ballindalloch Castle.
“As demand for our whisky expands around the world, more consumers are intrigued to discover and explore our heritage,” Brive said. “Linn House is an extension of our brand homes, affording anyone who visits the luxury of time: to rest, to indulge and to enjoy all that the region has to offer. Linn House becomes a destination hospitality offering here in Speyside.”
