  • Vanilla, caramel, milk chocolate, and almond all come through on the palate, with a lightly fruity finish that brings out a hint of cherry. It's one to sip or perhaps work into stirred cocktail.

  • I’m surprised how much char and bitterness there is in the single pot still release from Busker, but it is what it is. If pears, almond and char are your friend, this unlikely dram might just be a favorite.

  • Nose:

Light and sweet on the nose, quite grainy and youthful but full of honey, almond and baked pear.

  • Taste:

Youthful once again, it’s a pear and apple parade with touches of honey, pepper, slate and a touch of char.

  • Finish:

Finishing short, Busker Single Pot Still is char-forward with a touch of ash, honey and bitter oak.

  • Overall:

I’m surprised how much char and bitterness there is in this release from Busker, but it is what it is. If pears, almond and char are your friend, this unlikely dram might just be a favorite.
