  • Overall, O’Driscolls is an easy-drinking whiskey. It’s sweet, and it’s certainly not terribly complex but sits well-poised to compete with competitors like Bushmills and Jameson on the shelf when it comes to inoffensive, pleasant Irish bottlings.

  • Nose:

Light, sweet, full of pears, honey and grain. A pang of youth and graininess is here but nothing off-putting.

  • Taste:

Easy-drinking and sweet, it’s devoid of ethanol and full of honey, apples and pears. Light graininess but nothing overbearing. Sweet and easy.

  • Finish:

Light rising bread on the finish, flaky sweet pastry, honey, almond and a touch of lemon zest.
