  • From previous experience with a handful of Single Farm Origin releases, I can confidently say that Waterford has managed to create a whisky here that’s greater than the sum of its parts. Nicely done.

House Review
  • Nose:

    Beautifully rich with caramel, pralines, sweet frosted flakes, a touch of lemon zest along with some candied ginger. Unique to say the least, enticing to say the most.

  • Taste:

    Sweet on the palate, packed with orange peel, caramel, cereal grains, a faint touch of esters and ash. Viscous and silky mouthfeel, there's plenty of sweetness, praline, buttercream and a touch of lime and salinity. Delicious.

  • Finish:

    Long finish, it's sweet and complex, soil driven and filled with crushed stone, vanilla bean, caramel candies, light lactic funk, some citrus and a whole dish of spicy ginger.

  • Overall:

    Overall, this is quite something. Bright and spirity, funky and fun with notes that run the gamut from citrus to sweet to zesty and spicy. Lovely, fun, unique.
