Distilled by an undisclosed producer in Kentucky, this release combines 7 and 11yr Kentucky Bourbon together before a finishing period in Maison Ferrand Cognac casks and bottling by Bardstown Bourbon Company in Bardstown, Kentucky.

Dank at first, loaded with creamy toffee, buttery pecan, a touch of minerality and sweet, nutty aroma.
Rich on the palate, loads of toffee, buttercream, pecan, oak influence. The Ferrand isn’t particularly understated here, but compared to previous finishes, this is much better integrated, and works great in combination.
Long finish. Oaky, buttery, a nice peanut brittle character along with a touch of raisin bread.
Complex, delicious. I’m no friend of Ferrand, and honestly, their stance on the Barbados GI is downright shameful to enthusiasts in the rum world. That said, this whiskey manages the finish well and objectively speaking, it’s extremely well done. It's understandable that Bardstown would pair with one of the largest producers in the category, and the final product is great.
