The overall experience is a wholly approachable, straightforward single malt that’s priced closer to a blend. Transformative it’s not, but I would mix with it any day at this price.
It's soft to taste, however, with the butter and vanilla well counterpointed by salted caramel. There's also a hint of ginger. Calm waters on a sunny day rather than a rough storm.
