Canning's Distilled Gin is a dry gin made in small batches in Ribeira Brava on Madeira Island, Portugal, by C.N.A. Companhia Nova de Aguardente. It uses mountain juniper, plants native to the Laurissilva forest, passion fruit, pitanga and mountain water. It is bottled at 40% ABV and sells for around $40.
