Penumbra Mezcal is a single-palenque Espadín mezcal made in Santa Ana del Río, Oaxaca, Mexico. It was developed by Chip Tate, Master Distiller of Innovation at Foley Family Wines & Spirits. The agave is roasted over Encino live oak, tahona-crushed and distilled over open wood flame. It is bottled at 46% ABV and has a suggested retail price of $45.
