Chicotona Mezcal Papalometl is a mezcal made from Agave potatorum, locally known as papalometl, produced by Casa Huichichiqui in La Trinidad Tepango, Atlixco, in the Mexican state of Puebla. The brand was created for the U.S. market by maestro mezcalero Luis Aguilar in partnership with New York entrepreneur Daniel Peñaloza, and was first exported to New York in late 2025 as part of the Puebla Cinco de Mayo regional branding initiative.
