Chicotona Espadin is an artisanal mezcal made from espadin agave in La Trinidad Tepango, Atlixco, in the Mexican state of Puebla. It is produced by the Aguilar Carranza family, led by mezcalera Michel Aguilar Carranza and Luis Aguilar Zenteno, under the Casa Huichichiqui operation. The brand launched exports to New York in late 2025 through a partnership with entrepreneur Daniel Peñaloza, and the 750ml bottle retails for around $48.
