Ruach Ascent is a single malt whisky made at Ruach Distillery in Pardes Hanna, Israel. It is produced from 100% unpeated malted European 2 and 6 row barley, double distilled on copper Christian Carl stills and matured in first fill ex bourbon casks, new American oak casks and ex Oloroso sherry butts before finishing in XO Cognac casks. The whisky carries no age statement, is aged a minimum of five years, bottled at 47.7% ABV, and sells for around $144.99 per 700ml bottle.
