Caol Ila Moch is an Islay single malt Scotch whisky produced at the Caol Ila Distillery near Port Askaig on the Isle of Islay and owned by Diageo. It carries no age statement but is understood to be approximately 7 to 8 years old, matured in second and third-fill American oak hogsheads, and was the first Caol Ila expression selected entirely on the basis of taste rather than age, cask wood, strength or finish. It is bottled at 43% ABV and retails in the U.S. roughly in the $43 to $76 range.
