Bardstown Bourbon Co. Victoria Pineapple Barrel Finish Whiskey is a Kentucky-exclusive American whiskey and the inaugural release in Bardstown Bourbon Company’s Finishing Series. The blend combines 40% 11-year-old Indiana straight bourbon, 40% 10-year-old Indiana straight bourbon and 20% 11-year-old Indiana straight rye. The blend is finished for 27 months in Caribbean-sourced pineapple rum casks with fresh pineapple and toasted oak staves added during finishing. Bottled at 106 proof (53% ABV), it carries a suggested retail price of $139.99 for a 750ml bottle, with fewer than 350 nine-liter cases produced.

- The whiskey is certainly noticeably sweet, as you might expect, but it’s not cloying. And, of course, there are some pineapple notes in the mix, along with dried fruit, toasted nuts, vanilla, espresso, dark chocolate, and peach pie.
